You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Membership and Payments
Certain features (such as Job Seeker Memberships) may require paid subscriptions. Current membership fees will be displayed at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed through secure third-party providers.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
We may adjust pricing and benefits from time to time with reasonable prior notice.
4. Job Search and Applications
Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of job postings.
We do not guarantee the availability of any specific position, employer response, interviews, or job offers.
You are responsible for ensuring your resume, profile, and application materials are truthful and up to date.
Any agreements for employment are solely between you and the employer; Turk’s Compass is not a party to such agreements.
5. Advertisements and Sponsored Content
The Platform may display advertisements, sponsored listings, or promotional content.
We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of third-party advertisements.
Any interactions with advertisers or third-party services are solely between you and the third party.
6. Events and Community Activities
We may organize or promote in-person and online events, meetups, or informational sessions.
Attendance at events is at your own risk; we are not responsible for personal injury, property damage, or loss resulting from participation.
By attending events, you consent to the possible use of photographs or recordings for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing beforehand.
7. Community Content and Code of Conduct
Users may share business listings, event announcements, advice, and other community-based content.
You must not post any material that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or unlawful.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
You grant Turk’s Compass a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your public content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
Use the Platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
Misrepresent your identity or professional qualifications.
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
Post spam, phishing links, or malicious software.
Interfere with the Platform’s normal operations.
9. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, and design elements of the Platform are owned by or licensed to Turk’s Compass.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without our written permission.
You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us rights as stated in Section 7.
10. Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites and services.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party services.
Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or the accuracy of content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turk’s Compass is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms.
You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to termination.
13. International Use
You are responsible for complying with local laws and regulations in your country of residence.
If any provision of these Terms conflicts with applicable local law, such provision will be modified to comply with local law while maintaining its original intent.
14. Governing Law
For users in Canada: These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
For users in the United States: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
For users in the United Kingdom and EU: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
For users in Australia: These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If significant changes occur, we will notify users by email or through the Platform before they take effect.
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
